We have been making hand-made tiles in our rural workshop for ten years. We aim to make something beautiful for our clients' homes, something which will give lasting pleasure.

Our work, often based on our own drawings from life, reflects our appreciation of our beautiful surroundings here in West Wales.

Because we make the tiles here, we can be flexible and work closely with our clients. No two pieces of work are ever identical.

Each individually decorated tile is unique, because they are freshly drawn and painted by hand onto raw unfired clay.

Our tiles are finished with a glossy glaze which is fired for strength and durability. The process of making takes on average three weeks. We use terracotta clay for kitchens, and white clay for bathroom schemes.

All our tiles will show crazing to some extent. This is a normal characteristic of our tiles, and does not affect durability. The glaze is fired to between 1060C and 1080C, and will outlast all of us.

We send tiles by next-day carrier, and can supply to anywhere in the U.K., Eire and Europe.

We are straightforward and unpretentious about design work, and so a bespoke mural made by us need not cost an arm and a leg - just an arm will do.

A preliminary sketch is free and does not commit you.

Don't forget that the colours you see on your screen are probably not quite the same as the real tiles. The photos look correct on our monitor, but the way you view them is beyond our control as you may have your monitor set differently.

Packaging information

Packing Tiles

We use recycled materials as much as we possibly can. This why your tiles arrive in Banana boxes! Our custom-made boxes use recycled cardboard. Much of the bubble wrap and cushioning "filler" is also recycled from local businesses.

We have just started using waste wool - it's washed - for cushioning instead of plastic. See our Environmental info page for more about this. It's lovely stuff, completely bio-degradeable and endlessly re-usable.
